16 Red & White Holstein cows, 15 Hol. cows, 2 Milking Shorthorn cows, 14 Hol. bred heifers (8 are R&W), 10 Shortbred or ready to bred Hol. heifers (2 are R&W), 6 Red & White Hol. open heifers (12-14 mo.), 12 Hol. heifers (3-6 mo.: 9 are R&W), 3 R&W Hol. heifer calves, 1 Hol. hfr. calf, 1 R&W Hol. service sire

 This is a very young herd of cows w/15 cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation w/many productive years ahead of them.  The cows are housed in a stanchion barn & spend most of the day outdoors.  This sale will feature several very nice uddered young cows that are milking very well.  Current bulk tank SCC in the 250,000 range.  The herd has never been pushed for production w/a predominantly homegrown ration fed.  The heifers are accustomed to being outdoors and will make excellent herd replacements.  All pertinent info. will be posted on sale day.  If you are looking for good young dairy cows with lots of potential or replacement heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
