After 28 years, owners have sold their home farm & will sell the following dairy cattle at public auction. Current DHIA RHA is 24,549 m. 3.9% 973 BF & 793 P. Bulk tank receipts show a 90 lb. per cow average 4.0% BF, 3.1P & SCC of 149,000 (no BGH used). This is a very young herd of cows w/40 cows being in their 1st lactation. Top A-I sires have been used w/several daughters of Atwood, Sid, Doorman, Hero, Fever, Headliner, Supersire, Mogul & Aftershock selling. Strict herd health protocols are followed w/all vacc. up to date (Bovi-shield Gold, J-vac, J-5 & ViraShield currently used). All cows are dry treated & Orbeseal used as well.
