             67 Head of High Grade Holstein Dairy Cattle

42 Holstein cows, 6 Holstein bred heifers, 13 Holstein open heifers (550-750 lbs.), 5 Holstein heifer calves, 1 Angus x Hol. cross calf 

Current bulk tank receipts indicate a 60 lb. per cow average w/a 4.1% 3.2 P & SCC in the 100,000 range.  The cows are milking well but are not pushed for production.  This is a very young herd w/28 cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation.  The herd is timed well for the sale w/several cows due in March & April.  This is a 100% A-I sired homebred herd w/sires from Genex, Int. Protein, CRV & Accelerated Genetics used.  All cows are housed in a tie stall barn & left out daily for exercise.  The heifers are well grown & will make excellent replacement.  All pertinent ID, production, SCC & breeding info will be posted on sale day.  If you are looking for very good replacement cows & heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
