Due to the sudden passing of David, the Schaefer family has decided to disperse their herd of dairy cattle at this time. Current DHIA RHA is 25,483 m 3.8% 968 BF & 752 P. Bulk tank avg. is 82 lbs. per cow w/SCC of only 160,000. This is a very young herd w/32 cows being in their 1st or 2nd lactation. Top A-I sires have been used w/daughters of Sid, Palermo, Meridian, Al, Bolivia, Lheros & Jordan selling. This is a 100% A-I sired homebred herd. The herd is housed in a stanchion barn and are left out daily for exercise. All heifers are used to outdoor housing & headlocks as well. Current milking herd & heifer vacc. are up to date.
