            72 Head of High Grade Holstein Dairy Cattle

41 Holstein cows, 8 Holstein bred heifers, 11 Holstein short serviced heifers, 12 Holstein open heifers (6-12 mo.)

This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production.  Top A-I sires from Accelerated Genetics have been used for many years resulting in good uddered cows w/proper feet & legs as well.  This is a very young herd w/23 cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation w/many productive years ahead of them.  The herd has been 100% A-I sired & homebred for many years.  Current bulk tank receipts show a 60 lb. per cow average w/3.9% B.F. & SCC of 250,000 without being pushed hard for production.  The herd is housed in a tie stall barn & left out daily for exercise.  A herd health program is used w/all cattle receiving Masterguard, Bovi-Shield & Scour Guard vaccinations.  All heifers are very well grown & will make excellent replacements.  All pertinent production, I.D. & breeding info will be posted on sale day.  If you are looking for top replacement cows or heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
