After many years of successful dairy farming, the Elwoods have decided to disperse their cows & bred heifers at this time. Current DHIA RHA is 23,474 m. 3.8% 793 BF. Bulk tank receipts show an 80 lb. per cow average w/an SCC of only 150,000. The herd is well timed for the sale w/16 cows recently fresh & several cows milking from 80-127 lbs. per day. Top sires have been used w/several daughters Mogul, Clark, McCutchen, Alando-Red, Corvette & Supersire selling. The herd has been professionally mated for many years as well. This has been a 100% homebred A-I sired herd for many years. The herd is housed in a stanchion barn & accustomed to being outdoors the majority of the day. There will be 3 Red & White Holstein cows sold including a rare 3 yr. Toystory daughter. All vaccinations are up to date w/Bovi-shield Gold, J-vac, Scourguard, Express 10 & Covexin 8 currently used. The bred heifers are very well grown, accustomed to being outdoors & will make excellent herd replacements. A catalog with all pertinent information will be available. This will be an excellent opportunity to purchase very good replacement cattle right off a beautiful well managed farm.
