Squires Farm family owned dairy for more than 50 years has decided to disperse their herd of registered cows & bred heifers at this time. Current DHIA RHA is 25,875 m. 4.0% 1044 BF 834 P w/a per day tank average of 80 lbs. & SCC in the 100,000 range. The herd is housed in a sand bedded free stall barn, milked in a parlor & are accustomed to headlocks as well. This is a very young herd w/350 cows being in their 1st or 2nd lactation. Only top A-I sires have been used for over 50 years w/several daughters of McCutchen, Guthrie, GoldChip, Iota, Aftershock, Mogul, Atwood & Crush selling. Current service sires include Crush, King Doc, Pharo, Renegade, Soloman, Doorman, Unix, Monterey & Josuper. The herd was recently scored in Aug. resulting in 14 EX, 110 VG, 232 GP. Current BAA 105. Herd is on a weekly health program w/all vacc. up to date (Triangle 10, Vision 7, J vac & Guardian) and is on a routine hoof trimming schedule as well.
