86 Head of High Grade & Registered Holstein Dairy Cattle
47 Holstein cows, 13 bred Holstein heifers (4 are close springers), 4 short serviced heifers, 6 open heifers (12 mo.), 3 Holstein heifers (9 mo.), 8 Holstein heifers (4 mo.), 5 Holstein heifer calves
This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production. Top A-I sires have been used resulting in large dairy framed cows w/proper udders, feet & legs. Bulk tank receipts show a 65 lb. per day average w/a 4.1% B.F. & a SCC in the 200,000 range. The herd is not being pushed for production; however, several recently fresh young cows will sell milking from 80 to over 100 lbs. per day. Some of the cows are registered w/some cows being strong V.G. or even EX scoring cows. The young stock are very well grown, used to being outdoors & headlock acclimated as well. All pertinent production, SCC & breeding info will be available on sale day. If you are looking for very good replacement cows or heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
