This is a very young herd w/the majority of the cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation. Only the very best in A-I sires have been used w/daughters of Snowman, Kingpin, Mogul, Atwood, Hero, Windbrook, Colt-P & Super selling.  The herd is timed very well for the sale w/over 30 cows having freshened in the last 45 days.  Current DHIA tests show a RHA of 19,105 m. 3.9% 745 BF.  The Larson’s have never pushed their cows w/no TMR feeding or BGH used.  This herd is housed in a tie-stall barn, are accustomed to bunk feeding & spend the majority of the day outside on a dirt lot & pasture.  These are the type of young cows that will easily rise to the level of production of any herd they are taken. Current bulk tank SCC is in the 100,000 range and 9-way vacc. given.  For the commercial dairyman, there will be plenty of recently fresh fancy uddered young cows with many productive years ahead of them.  For the registered breeder, this sale will offer deep-pedigreed cows & several Red, Polled & genomic contract-type heifers as well.
