62 Holstein cows, 1 R& W Hol. cow, 3 close springing Hol. heifers, 15 Hol. bred heifers, 8 Hol. heifers (short bred or ready to breed), 8 Hol. heifers (yearlings), 18 Hol. heifers (6-10 mo.), 1 R&W heifer (10 mo.), 4 Hol. heifers (4-5 mo.), 5 Hol. heifer calves, (2) 900 lb. Hol. steers

 This is an exceptionally good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production.  The herd has been 100% A-I sired & homebred for over 25 years.  Top sires from Semex have been used for the past 14 years resulting in well framed dairy cattle w/very good feet & legs & udders that any dairyman would appreciate.  Some sires and service sires include Doorman, Chelios, Facebook, Meridian, and Numero Uno.  Current bulk tank receipts show an 88 lb. per day average w/3.8% B.F., 2.9% & SCC in the 200,000 range. (2X per day milking & no BGH used).  There will be a lot of recently fresh cows sold milking from 100-130 lbs. This is a very young herd w/37 cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation w/many productive years ahead of them.  Herd health is excellent w/a 2X per month herd health program used and all vacc. being up to date (Bovi-shield-Gold, Altra-Bac-7, Scour Guard, etc.).
