35 Holstein cows, 2 Red & White Holstein cows, 4 close springing Holstein heifers, 9 Holstein bred heifers, 2 R&W Holstein bred heifers, 4 Holstein heifers (8-12 mo.), 4 Holstein heifers (1-4 mo.), 1 Red & White Holstein service sire
This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production. Sires from Select Sires have been used for many years as well as a pedigreed bull for heifers & cleanup purposes. These are very good uddered cows w/proper feet & legs as well. The herd is very well timed for the sale w/12 cows recently fresh & several close springers as well. This is a very young herd w/over half the herd being in their 1st or 2nd lactation. The herd is milking well but have not been pushed hard for production w/no TMR feeding or BGH used. Current bulk tank SCC is in the 200,000 range. The heifers are well grown & will make excellent herd replacements. All pertinent production, SCC & breeding info will be posted on sale day.
