 Note: Having sold the farm the following personal property will be sold at public auction.  This sale will feature a very well bred herd of cattle as well as a very well cared for line of machinery.

             66 Head of Holstein & Red & White Holstein Dairy Cattle

44 Holstein Cows (11 are Red & White Hol.), 7 Holstein bred heifers (1 is R&W), 9 Holstein heifers 8-12 mo. (5 are R&W), 6 Holstein heifers 5-6 mo. (1 is R&W)

 This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production.  Bulk tank receipts show a 60 lb. per cow avg. w/3.8% BF 3.2 P & SCC in the 200,000 range.  The herd has not been pushed for production but will feature several recently fresh cows milking over 100 lbs. per day.  This is a very young herd w/24 cows being in their 1^st or 2^nd lactation w/many productive years ahead of them.  The milking herd is housed in a tie stall barn & left out daily for exercise.  The youngstock are very well grown and will make excellent replacements.  All cows & heifers are homebred and have received their triangle vacc. as well.  All pertinent production, SCC & breeding info will be posted.  If you are looking for very good replacement cows & heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
