The Bunklemans are very overstocked w/cows at this time and have decided to have a herd reduction sale. Auction staff were permitted to hand pick 50 cows out of 86 for the sale w/the majority being 1st & 2nd lactation. Current DHIA RHA is 21,785 m. 3.7% 811 B.F. w/ a bulk tank average of 74 lbs. per day. Bulk tank SCC is consistently in the 100,000 range. This herd is not pushed for production but will offer several cows milking from 75 to over 100 lbs. per day. Top A-I sires have been used resulting in fancy uddered young cows w/proper feet & legs as well. This has been a closed homebred herd for many years. The herd is housed in a tiestall/stanchion barn & left out for exercise. Seasonal vacc. are up to date & a monthly herd health program is used. A catalog w/all pertinent ID, breeding, production & SCC will be available on sale day. If you are looking for exceptionally nice young replacement cows right off the farm, be sure to attend this sale.
